AI products built and owned by Fig AI Systems

Fig AI Systems builds and owns two AI products. Build-a-Dress is a live business at build-a-dress.com with over 2,000 monthly active users. Report Grader grades school reports for education teams against national and international standards. Neither is client work.

Build-a-Dress: a live business

Build-a-Dress is a made-to-order fashion marketplace that Fig AI Systems built, owns and operates, with over 2,000 monthly active users.

An agentic chat assistant turns a shopper's description into a design and generates images of it. A separate agentic workflow prices the design by classifying complexity, weight and other pricing signals. The order then routes to a verified manufacturer, with payouts and a global payment gateway wired in.

Build-a-Dress is also the company's clearest working demonstration of agentic chat assistants and agentic workflow automation. Read about Build-a-Dress for the architecture and engineering detail.

Report Grader for education teams

Report Grader grades school reports against national and international standards. We built it and we own it.

A single report analysis triggers more than 1,000 token-efficient LLM calls. Report Grader parses DOCX and PDF documents and segments them. Those segments run through skill-enabled agents mapped to a domain-specific corpus at high concurrency. Inspectors stay in the loop where human judgment is needed.

Report Grader is the product where closed-loop evaluation and retrieval over a domain-specific corpus do the heavy lifting. Read about Report Grader for the parsing, concurrency and review gates.

Why Fig AI Systems builds its own products

Owning a product means carrying its production risk every day it runs.

A product is never finished. Build-a-Dress has to keep answering shoppers, keep pricing designs it has never seen, and keep settling money across borders. Running it puts Fig AI Systems on the receiving end of every failure. That is why concurrency, token efficiency and evaluation are architectural concerns here.

Neither product is a client reference. Both are evidence of what Fig AI Systems can build under custom AI agent development.

What the two products have in common

Each keeps a structured, checkable step between what the model decides and what the system does.

The model produces a structured intermediate: a dress specification or a graded segment. The rest of the system can act on it, price it, route it or review it. That makes the behavior inspectable. A wrong quote or a wrong grade traces back to a specific classification.

Not sure whether your workflow needs an agent? The comparison of AI agents and chatbots answers that. The services overview maps each capability to the problem it solves.

Frequently asked questions

Are Build-a-Dress and Report Grader client projects?

No. Fig AI Systems built and owns both of them. Each page explains how the system is engineered.

Which of these products can I use today?

Build-a-Dress. It is a live business at build-a-dress.com with over 2,000 monthly active users. Report Grader is a demo, and its page sets out how the system is engineered.

What do these two products say about Fig AI Systems?

Fig AI Systems builds AI products end to end and runs one as a business, carrying the operational risk itself. Build-a-Dress covers agentic chat assistants, agentic workflow automation and payments. Report Grader covers high-concurrency orchestration, corpus-grounded retrieval, closed-loop evaluation and human-in-the-loop review.
